LO3 Presentation Feedback

Most of the feedback was very positive, being that I have a very strong and distinctive idea, which was clearly and professionally presented. I have been informed that I know my target audience as I have researched them, as well as having detailed and annotated sketches for my mock up of my designs. And also the fragmented that I have implemented into my logo and my ticket design, fits very well the theme of earthquakes and therefore links to stylistic conventions of the genre. I have also been reviewed on my choice of venues, it links to the further sales of merchandise for my festival, and therefore is very insightful and monetizing.

There were some things I need to improve including; the colour scheme, detail on the mock up designs, adding symbols on the logo or product sketches. Also it was mentioned that a larger font could be used on the poster, which I will improve and therefore making it easier for them to read and therefore draw in more customers. Many mentioned that I needed to add a bright colour to relate to my target audience, because at the current moment my colour scheme is more linked to the stylistic conventions of the genre rather than the target audience which is actually who I'm trying to appeal to. So I need to add a bright colour, to also more contrast and make the logo stand out more and be more visually appealing. I could add more detail and more different visual parts to the mock ups, including more visually appealing text and layout, and maybe add different aspects such as photography. I have thought about the colour scheme issue and have decided to put my design on a black background to add contrast and maybe add the colour red in to contrast with the brown and orange.
